fresh breakfast sea view
The hotel provided a bag with fresh breakfast at 5.30 am because i had an early ferry. staff collected my luggage from my room at 5.15 am. breakfast was superb and it had a big selection. staff were great and very helpful. location was perfect and i had a beautiful sea view from my room window. royalty visited this hotel many years ago. Pictures are on the walls.
the bed was small. the bathroom was also a bit small.

I appreciated the friendly and knowledgeable concierge.. he gave great recommendations. The sunset views were very nice, and the location was beautiful. Breakfast was very delicious, with many options. The hotel provides easy access to exploring the area.
There was no elevator, so I had to walk up stairs. This wasn't ideal with heavy luggage.

The staff demonstrated kindness and professionalism at all times, showing great attention to detail in every interaction. They arranged an electric vehicle to take luggage to the ferry port, which I found especially helpful. I felt very well taken care of .

small room old fixtures
I must say, my room felt a tad cramped, not great. The bathroom size was surprising, with old fixtures. My knees almost made friends with the towel heater while I was using the toilet. I think some upgrades are needed.

friendly staff fresh breakfast perfect location small room dirty feeling no lift
the staff was really helpful and friendly i booked a day out. i was given a food bag to take with me with a lovely fresh breakfast it was very thoughtful. the location was perfect i saw the sunset from my room window.
my room was very small everything felt old and a little bit dirty. the bathroom was so small it needed a good clean. there is no lift in the hotel there are lots of stairs to climb up.

excellent stay IN a historic setting
wide variety staff members central location
the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of food. The staff members were cute and knowledgable about the history of the hotel. my room was very pretty. the location was very central, offering easy access to many attractions. i loved that the staff told me more about the history of the hotel.
our room was small and felt a little old. WALLS had writing on them from a previous guest. the bathroom was like it needed a good clean. there is no lift in the hotel.
